As a member, you will receive:

- Access to advice on Boat Safety Scheme (BSS) matters
- Help & Advice on navigation and boating matters
The Committee meets 6 times a year
We offer six types of memberships:
- Ordinary Membership
- available to anyone with an interest in Rivers and/or associated waterways,
- Family/Friend Membership
- available to anyone nominated by an Ordinary Member and who regularly crews for the nominating Ordinary Member. An Ordinary Member may nominate up to one Family/Friend Member.
- Affiliated Membership
- available to any established club and similar organisation with an interest in the Rivers and/or associated waterways,
- Honorary Membership
- may be granted by the Committee to any individual, club or other organisation when, in the Committee's view, this would benefit or honour the Association,
- Life Membership
- requires a nomination by the Committee at Annual General Meeting and may be granted to an individual who has given outstanding service to the Association.
- Corporate Membership
- open to any business involved in providing goods and services to the boating community, and/or to the boating industry, and/or to the general waterside community.
Applications for Ordinary, Affiliated and Corporate Membership and nominations for Family/Friend Membership are made to the Membership Secretary or to the Treasurer.
Membership is open to all who subscribe to the Association's objectives.
